Job Description

The Treasury Onboarding Project Manager is primarily responsible for providing Project and Change Management, Sales, Operational and Technical support to ensure the successful onboarding of BOKF’s products and services. Partners with, and acts as the liaison between, Commercial customers, Treasury Sales, Product Management, Operations, and the Onboarding Team to address and resolve unique or non-standard client processing requirements. Acts as Change Agent/Practitioner to ensure our Clients, Treasury Teams and Partners receive appropriate Awareness, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement to successfully manage the transition of our customers onto the BOKF products and services.

How You'll Spend Your Time

Project Management

  • Own integrated project plans, milestones, and dependencies
  • Lead execution across internal Lines of Business, Operations, IT, and vendors
  • Manage risks, issues, scope changes, and escalations
  • Drive decision‑making and readiness to proceed
  • Report status with clear RAG posture and recommended actions
  • Identify and manage critical path items pertaining to complex projects to ensure desired timelines and expense reduction expectation.
  • Collaborate with Onboarding Management Team on project opportunities to improve the team’s internal process flow and gaps in setups.
  • Partner with Technical Onboarding Consultant to support external client onboarding projects.
  • Recommends potential solutions when operational processes experience difficulties.  

Change Management & Quality Control Management

  • Assessing change impacts within onboarding and our LOB partners (people, process, controls, systems)
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to execute change plans (comms, training, reinforcement)
  • Collaborate with leaders to drive adoption and accountability
  • Measure readiness, resistance, and adoption risks
  • Ensure handoffs to BAU are deliberate
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree with 7-10 years relevant banking, project/change management and client onboarding experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Extensive knowledge of banking products and services as well as all other products offered through other areas of the Bank
  • Understanding and knowledge of Bank and Vendor operations as well as the Bank’s organizational structure
  • Strong PC and software application skills
  • Excellent organization, time management and planning skills
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving and team building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of product delivery systems and on-line computer systems
  • Advanced knowledge in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of project plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule development, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control.
  • Strong consultative skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral presentations and demonstrations
  • Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
