Responsibilities
  • Effectively deliver the Firm's philosophy and solution on an ongoing relationship management basis with other team members
  • Expectation of participation with the Investment Committee
  • Conduct investment reviews with prospects and clients to determine or validate current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products
  • Develop investment policy statements, advise on asset allocation and manage client's investment portfolio
  • Maintain current knowledge of all Private Bank products and strategies
  • Responsible for engaging in business development (to include prospecting, development of external and internal referral sources, use of personal and professional contacts) to deliver results
  • Initiate and close sales of complex investment products
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal partners and teammates
  • Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years relevant banking experience required with at least seven years in private banking preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent/relevant program; MBA, CFA or CFP preferred
  • Series 7 and Series 63 required
  • Extensive experience with and in-depth knowledge of fixed income, structured notes, equities and alternatives
  • Extensive experience managing discretionary and brokerage relationships
  • Advanced ability to develop, cultivate and maintain ultra-high net-worth client relationships with increased complexity
  • Conduct operations within FINRA and other regulatory agency guidelines and requirements
  • Advanced ability to communicate sophisticated investment strategies to all levels of clients and prospects
  • Advanced sales experience including: profiling, overcoming objections, negotiation, team selling approach, closing the sale and asking for referrals
