Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $102,500.00 - $139,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Essential Functions
  • Develop and maintain domain reference architecture
  • Communicate the high-level API integrations of all banking applications under the responsibility of the domain area
  • Participate in cross domain reference architecture development
  • Serve as the domain architecture consultant for development teams
  • Participate in architecture reviews
  • Manage architecture exceptions for domain
  • Represent the domain area within the Enterprise Architecture committee
  • Represent the domain area in technical consultation meetings with other teams within IT and the Lines of Business
  • Assist with incident events across all app codes within the domain area as needed
  • Own and direct the management of domain specific documentation and interaction with the Information Security team
  • Assist the team when needed to triage and/or solve technical challenges
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Basic understanding of domain architecture
  • Basic understanding of Java and/or C#
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Sql Server
  • Basic understanding of internal and external API integrations
  • Basic understanding of microservices
  • Basic understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Complex problem solving skills
  • Ability to understand and address application issues including integrations and connectivity
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and vendor representatives
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3+ years of engineering experience in Domain (Business, Information, Applications, Technology Infrastructure) required
  • 3+ years of experience in producing design documentation, patterns, standards, or specifications preferred
  • 2+ years of experience designing and/or implementing enterprise applications and integrations required

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $102,500 to $139,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
