Job description

Bakery Manager (Hands-On) – Diamond Bakery

Full-Time | 45–50 hrs/week | $52,000+ + Monthly Bonus

Diamond Bakery is seeking an experienced, hands-on Bakery Manager to lead daily operations across both retail and wholesale.
This is not a desk job — you will work in production, manage the floor, and lead by example every day.
What You’ll Do

  •  Oversee daily operations (opening/closing, scheduling, inventory)
  •  Work hands-on in baking and production while supervising the team
  •  Manage wholesale orders and client relationships
  •  Hire and train staff
  •  Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
  •  Manage ordering, cost control, and overall operations
  •  Support growth through catering, events, and partnerships
What We’re Looking For

  • Bakery production experience required (not just general food service)
  •  Strong focus on cleanliness and organization
  • Lead-by-example manager willing to work front and back of house
  •  Experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  •  Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with early mornings and weekends
Compensation

  •  Starting at $52,000+ (based on experience)
  • Monthly performance bonus based on:
    •  Sales growth
    •  Labor & cost control
    •  Overall operations
To Apply (Required)

Please include brief answers to the following:
  1.  Your hands-on bakery production experience (what have you personally made?)
  2.  What does a “clean bakery” look like at the end of a shift?
  3.  Example of holding an employee accountable
  4.  How you handle a shift that starts off behind
  5.  Confirmation you can work early mornings/weekends
