Job description

Bakery Manager — Fine Bagels

Brighton, NY | Full-Time, Salaried

Fine Bagels is a new Kosher bakery in Brighton opening its doors to build something special — real

bagels, done right, in a business built to become the best in Rochester. We're looking for a Bakery

Manager who wants ownership over their kitchen, a meaningful stake in the business, and room to

grow with us from day one.

What You'll Do

As Bakery Manager, you'll run the kitchen day-to-day — staffing, training, ordering, and quality control

— with the authority to make it happen. You'll report directly to the ownership team, and you'll have a

genuine say in hiring, purchasing, and how the bakery runs.

• Own kitchen scheduling and staffing

• Lead recruiting and interviewing for kitchen staff

• Full authority over food ordering and production purchasing

• Train and develop your team to a high standard

• Partner closely with front-of-house, wholesale, and retail teams

• Be the person who keeps product quality consistent and the kitchen running smoothly. Experience in dough production will be considered during the hiring process.

What We Offer

Salaried position with consistent, predictable pay

Health Inspection Bonus — a cash bonus for every 100% first-visit health department score

A built-in day off every week — the bakery is closed every Saturday for Shabbat, and we make a

good-faith effort to give you two consecutive days off

Paid holiday closures — Fine Bagels closes for major Jewish holidays throughout the year, and

you're paid for those days

Paid sick leave in accordance with New York State law

• A true leadership seat at a growing local business, with a founding team invested in your success

Who We're Looking For

• Someone with bakery or kitchen management experience who wants full ownership over their

operation

• A hands-on leader who can train a team, solve problems on the fly, and hold a high standard for

product quality

• Someone reliable who communicates well and thrives with early-morning hours and a flexible

schedule

• A team player who works well across front-of-house and wholesale partnersSchedule

Early mornings are part of the job — this is a bakery. Hours flex with production and business needs,

and we do our best to build in consistent time off each week.

Location: 2240 Monroe Ave, Brighton, NY

Job Type: Full-time, Salaried

Interested candidates should apply with a resume and a bit about their bakery/kitchen management

experience.
