Job description

The Logistics and Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for managing shipping and receiving operations and finished goods for Bakerly Ranch. They will proactively and effectively communicate and coordinate transportation efforts to ensure materials arrive on time, within required verifications, and are documented appropriately. They will work with various departments and vendors to ensure the availability of materials and maintain accurate and quality inventory integrity. The Logistics and Fulfillment Coordinator will maintain the organization and inventory of finished goods and support the Inventory Control Lead function contributing to Bakerly's mission of crafting high-quality bakery products like those enjoyed by millions of families in France.
This position plays a key role in bringing Bakerly's vision to life, delivering moments of joy and connection through our products, while upholding our core values of honesty, reliability, collaboration, positivity, and excellence.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure efficient and accurate movement of shipments to and from Bakerly Ranch's facility.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure pickup and delivery schedule is feasible given the availability of product, staff, and equipment.
  • Respond to broker inquiries.
  • Review purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Complete allocation for orders in Bakerly's' ERP to ensure efficient and accurate withdrawal, while using following FIFO procedures.
  • Create and revise tallies through visual inspection; remove hold tags and verify all paperwork submitted for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicate with Bakerly Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Transportation department on issues with purchasing and orders.
  • Ensure accuracy of the shipping and receiving schedule by correctly recording dates, times, and order numbers from incoming pickup requests.
  • Correct and follow up with carriers and customers to be sure pick-ups are on time.
  • Track and fix shipping errors.
  • Prepare Bills of lading and tallies for all outbounds.
  • Ensure the quality of service provided meets the Bakerly standards.
  • Complete the shipping process in the ERP for all orders leaving the facility.
  • Manage the flow of inventory consistent with FIFO costing.
  • Provide communication with Bakerly Supply Chain team on transfer needs given current storage space availability.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse teams regarding receiving schedules and storage constraints.
  • Optimize inventory turns and material utilization.
  • Provide maintenance of inventory management system regarding product locations and receipt of finished products on deliveries.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Adhere to Bakerly's safety procedures and policies.
  • Adhere to Bakerly's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Develop and maintain quality and food safety standards.
  • Maintain quality, food safety standards and NO-GE systems
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics within a production environment.
  • Previous inventory management or ERP system experience.
  • Previous forklift experience.
