How you will make an impact:

As a part of our expanding Injection Molding team, the Molding Production Operator is responsible for running, trimming, bagging, boxing, counting, and store molded parts to ensure the quality of parts produced. They will work closely with team members to ensure production goals are met while maintaining safety standards and meeting quality control specifications.

  • Monitor molded parts while machines are running.
  • Adjust the injection molding process as necessary to produce quality parts.
  • Measure and inspect molded parts for visual and dimensional issues to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Trim excess material from molded parts.
  • Properly count, bag and pack product to prevent contamination or distortion.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Injection Molding skills are trained by Meissner. No other training is required.
  • A personal commitment to produce the highest quality product is essential.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math knowledge (multiply, subtract, divide, etc).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Work Environment

Filter Production is performed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Shorts, loose, or baggy clothing is not permitted. Makeup, hair styling products, soiled, fuzzy or frayed clothing must not be worn into the cleanroom. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only nonsmokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.
