Job Description
Are you a highly motivated leader eager to continue your career in program management? The Advanced Compact EW Solutions organization in Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack (CEMA) business area is seeking a motivated Program Manager II to join our team to support an exciting, complex, and dynamic program. This role is ideal for a person with program execution experience who thrives in a fast paced environment and is ready to develop robust program management and leadership skills. This is a critical growth opportunity where you will be mentored while directly impacting the delivery of next generation electronic warfare (EW) capabilities. In CEMA we provide next generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to ensure unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.
In this role you will:
  • Join a dynamic team that provides mission critical electronic warfare solutions in BAE's Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line.
  • Lead a ramp to rate program to support a long-term production program that is currently in engineering development (EMD) and has a low rate production (LRP) on contract.
  • Prepare the organization for a very large ramp by managing ~$80m investment in equipment, facilities, test stands, suppliers, etc..ensuring readiness for FRP contracts of $400m per year
  • Work closely with the functional leads to support program execution for this effort as well as all supporting contracts.
  • Be results-oriented, have a disciplined process management skillset, and show strong technical acumen driving cross-organizational issues and projects to resolution.
This program has a need for consistent in person collaboration and many job requirements must be done on site because of the nature of this particular role. Therefore full time on-site work is preferred although occasional hybrid work is possible. This means the majority of work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility (NCA)

Required Skills and Education
  • US Citizen with Secret clearance and ability to achieve SAP/SAR
  • Bachelors degree in a technical or business related discipline
  • Ten years Defense industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams
  • A desire to learn and an aptitude for working in a fast paced, highly technical environment
  • Project management or program office experience or experience leading a team
