We are seeking a skilled and client-focused Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing personal injury cases through the pre-litigation phase, providing legal guidance, negotiating settlements, and ensuring exceptional client outcomes.


Position Summary


The Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney will manage a high-volume caseload from intake through settlement. This individual will evaluate claims, advise clients, negotiate with insurance carriers, and collaborate closely with case managers, paralegals, and support staff to drive cases toward successful resolution.


Key Responsibilities


Case Evaluation & Strategy

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of personal injury claims
  • Review medical records, police reports, and supporting documentation
  • Assess liability, damages, and overall case viability
  • Develop legal strategies designed to maximize client recovery


Client Communication & Counseling

  • Interview and advise clients regarding their legal rights and options
  • Maintain consistent communication and provide case updates
  • Guide clients through the pre-litigation process with professionalism and empathy
  • Build trust and strong client relationships


Negotiation & Settlement

  • Draft and review settlement demands and legal correspondence
  • Negotiate with insurance adjusters and opposing parties
  • Evaluate settlement offers and provide recommendations to clients
  • Work to secure favorable settlements while protecting client interests


Case Management & Collaboration

  • Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and performance expectations
  • Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and support staff
  • Coordinate with medical providers and third parties to support case development
  • Maintain organized and accurate case files in accordance with firm standards


Legal Research & Documentation

  • Conduct legal research to support case development
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Prepare and review case-related documentation and correspondence


Qualifications


Required


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Georgia Bar license in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law and insurance practices
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service


Preferred


  • 3–6 years of plaintiff personal injury experience
  • Experience drafting settlement demands
  • Experience negotiating with insurance carriers
  • Familiarity with case management systems and legal technology
  • Experience reviewing medical records and evaluating damages
