Job description

Help Home for Families prepare for our Back-to-School giveaway by helping to transport stuffed backpacks to our main office! We will have volunteers work in two groups, with one group loading backpacks at our satellite location, and another unloading backpacks at our main office. Please be prepared to assembly line backpacks up one and a half flights of stairs and load (or unload) staff vehicles. We will need all hands-on deck to move 350+ backpacks to our main building!

Please wear closed toe shoes you will be comfortable moving up and down the stairs in.

Please note that there are two shifts available corresponding to the two volunteer locations. Also note that the shift times differ by fifteen minutes to account for the time it will take to load the first batch of backpacks.
