Job Description
Provides patient care in the office setting. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care to patients of all ages and populations; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision licensed independent practitioner. Performs duties as assigned/delegated by other clinical support staff within the office. Adheres to regulatory requirements, clinical and office policies, and procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Education High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Up to one year experience in medical setting with certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training and/or experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good organizational skills BLS certification Ability to work under pressure and be able to adapt to medical situations Ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patient in arising from exam table, push wheelchair patients, and assist patient in arising from and returning to wheelchair.
Weekend and Night differential included as scheduled!
