Job Summary/Basic Function
The Programming and Marketing Assistant supports the planning, coordination, and promotion of educational programs and special events at the History Center. This position assists with program logistics, including coordinating with presenters and volunteers, preparing materials, managing registrations, and ensuring successful event execution.

Work Schedule
Tuesday through Friday 10am - 4pm. Flexible with student class schedule. Work schedule will be determined by student availability and organization needs.

Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing materials, managing registrations, and ensuring successful event execution. The assistant also helps develop and implement promotional marketing through social media, website updates, email communications, print materials, and community outreach to increase public engagement and attendance. Working closely with museum staff, the Programming & Marketing Assistant helps create meaningful educational experiences that connect visitors with local history while advancing the museum's mission and visibility.
