Calculus Teaching Assistant Jobs in Indiana (NOW HIRING)

Concord High School is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dual Credit Certified Mathematics Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mathematical background, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire high school students to achieve excellence in advanced mathematics. This role involves teaching Dual Credit Trigonometry, Dual Credit Pre-Calculus, and Geometry. Dual Credit certification preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Supervisor: Principal and Assistant Principal
• Terms of Employment: Per Collective Bargaining Agreement

Primary Function:

To plan and implement learning activities aligned with the Corporation’s educational programming to continuously develop students’ knowledge and skills so that they are prepared to pursue college and/or career opportunities.

Essential Duties:

• Recognize the basic dignities of students, parents and families, colleagues, and subordinates.
• Exercise due care to protect the mental and physical safety of students.
• Create a safe, respectful, and orderly classroom environment that promotes students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
• Plan learning activities that are aligned with Indiana Academic Standards.
• Implement learning activities using Corporation-adopted curricular materials that promote active student learning.
• Assess and monitor students’ learning to provide responsive instruction.
• Initiate and maintain collaborative relationships with students’ parents and families.
• Continuously strive to learn and develop new skills to promote student learning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications and Characteristics:

• The education and educator license or permit required by the Indiana Department of Education

Working Conditions:

The duties of this position are performed in a classroom environment. Persons are required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch. Additionally, persons may need to lift objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distant vision, and depth perception. Noise levels in the working environments may be moderately loud or loud. Occasionally, persons are required to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Persons are also required to maintain emotional composure under stress.
