Job Posting: High School Mathematics Teacher

2026–2027 School Year

Western Wayne School Corporation is accepting applications for a High School Mathematics Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality mathematics instruction, fostering positive relationships with students, and creating a classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and critical thinking.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging mathematics instruction aligned with Indiana Academic Standards.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction.
  • Maintain accurate student records and communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana teaching license in Mathematics (or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure).
  • Strong instructional, classroom management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and goals of Western Wayne School Corporation.
