Huntington Learning Center is urgently hiring math tutors! Paid training provided. This position is great for graduate students, research scholars, and new or retired math teachers. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. A bachelor's degree is REQUIRED.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To ensure our students have a successful educational experience, our tutors must complete initial and ongoing training in Huntington's teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. Our tutors must have scored at least 30 on the math sections of the ACT or 700+ on the SAT. If your scores are more than 5 years old, you may take a qualifying exam at our center.
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

Math Areas (candidates must be proficient in at least 4 of the following):
  • Pre-Algebra.
  • Algebra I & II.
  • Geometry.
  • Trigonometry.
  • Pre-Calculus.
  • Calculus and college-level math.

There are no lesson plans to write or homework to grade. Youโ€™ll enhance your resume with highly respected experience while earning money in a flexible working environment.
Flexible Scheduling:
  • Summer Schedule: Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
  • Fall/After School Schedule: Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Job Type: Part-time.
Pay: Between $20-22 per hour depensing on experience.
