Position Type: Student Support Services/Social Worker Date Posted: 10/14/2025 Location: Carlsbad Municipal School District Under the general supervision of the Director of Special Education, to provide students, parents, administrators, and other teaching staff with individually-tailored advice and consultation to overcome personal, emotional, familial, or social issues to maximize the students' learning experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hold a department-issued license for at least one of the following:
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • License Master Social Worker (LMSW)
    • Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT);
    • national certified school counselor credential issued by the national board for certified counselors
  • Have or eligible for at least one of the following New Mexico PED licenses as required by the State of New Mexico
