Job description

Who You Are
You have a knack for opening doors and making real connections. You're curious about people and their businesses, ask thoughtful questions, and know how to listen for what really matters.
You live for the chase-identifying the right accounts, crafting personalized outreach that cuts through the noise, and turning strategy into momentum. You're goal-driven, focused, and just the right amount of competitive. You know sales is as much about the big picture as it is about the details-like aligning with a prospect's business strategy or getting the tone of an email just right.
You want to rep a product you believe in, with a team that's got your back - so every conversation you start feels like a win-win. At Swoogo, sales is a team sport, and you know how to show up, collaborate, and help everyone win.
Are you already thinking about how you'd get our attention? You might be our next Sales Development Representative.
About the Role
Swoogo is a fast-growing startup with big ambitions in the event space. We move quickly, think creatively, and our team brings the same energy. This role is for someone who thrives in a high-impact environment and loves blending strategic sales with measurable results.
In this role you will:
  • Prospect into accounts through cold outbound, ABM tactics, gifting, personalized outreach, and content-driven engagement.
  • Convert inbound leads from content downloads, webinars, and events.
  • Collaborate with AEs on account mapping and multi-threading strategies.
  • Build and maintain accurate prospect lists for targeted outreach.
  • Write high-conversion emails and LinkedIn messages that break through the noise.
  • Use creative CTAs to drive meetings with decision-makers.
  • Track results, analyze performance, and refine outreach based on data.
  • Represent Swoogo at select events and follow up with precision.
  • Become an expert in Swoogo's value for event teams and align our solutions to their most pressing challenges.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • You will work strategically with our Account Executives to map accounts, identify buying committees, and develop multi-touch strategies that connect with decision-makers across complex organizations.
What You've Done Before
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales as an SDR.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales environment.
  • Track record of generating pipeline through outbound channels.
  • Proficient in cold outbound, Account-Based Sales tactics, gifting, and multi-channel outreach to enterprise accounts.
  • Skilled in crafting personalized, compelling communications for executive-level engagement.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling to uncover needs and advance opportunities.
  • Experience with account mapping, multi-threading, and collaborative AE planning.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce/HubSpot for pipeline and activity tracking.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and hunter mentality.
  • Detail-oriented, target-driven, and results-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to audience.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.

It'd Be Great If You've Done This
  • Experience running discovery calls, maintaining prospect engagement, and scheduling next steps.
  • Worked with or have knowledge of the events industry.
  • Completed formal training in solution-based or consultative selling (e.g., MEDDIC, SPICED, Challenger).
  • Collaborated with AEs on complex account strategies.
  • Used gifting, personalized content, or ABM tactics to engage enterprise prospects.
