Maintenance Mechanic Technician III

Pay: Competitive Hourly Wage 32.00 

Location: Boise, Idaho

Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a 4-3-3-4 rotation with built-in days off

What You'll Be Doing

Every shift offers a new challenge. You will:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to maximize uptime.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and identify long-term solutions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Weld and fabricate components to support equipment repairs and plant improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment systems, including DAF operations.
  • Inspect production equipment to ensure safe operation, food safety compliance, and product quality.
  • Read and complete maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, inspection logs, and service documentation.
  • Respond quickly to production equipment issues with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Sanitation teams to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently.
  • Mentor and train Level I and Level II Maintenance Technicians.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Perform work safely while following all company safety, food safety, and quality standards.

Preferred Experience

We're looking for experienced industrial maintenance professionals with 3+ years of maintenance experience or equivalent technical training.

Experience with any of the following is highly valued:

  • Industrial mechanical maintenance
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and actuators
  • Packaging equipment
  • VFDs and industrial controls
  • Refrigeration systems
  • Air compressors and plant utilities
  • Wastewater treatment systems
  • Boilers and HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Welding and stainless steel sanitary fabrication
  • CNC water jet equipment
  • Food manufacturing experience

Our technicians enjoy a rotating 4-3-3-4 schedule, providing built-in long weekends throughout the month.
