Job description

CBTS is in search of a Platform Engineer for a full-time position. This resource will have the opportunity to introduce AI/ML development concepts while assisting the enterprise with migrating their current applications to the Azure Cloud Platform.

Sr AI Platform Engineer

The Sr Azure AI Platform Engineer, aligns with Clients and the Application Development Team to design, build, & operate scalable AI-enabled platform capabilities on Azure. This role creates the foundational services, patterns, & infrastructure needed to safely & effectively embed machine learning & generative AI features across company-wide applications. Working closely with software engineers, data partners, product managers, & business stakeholders.

Duties

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven capabilities across applications
  • Embedding intelligence into workflows, user experiences, & backend services;
  • Identify opportunities where AI & ML can improve decision-making, automation, personalization, & efficiency
  • Build reusable AI platform components, services, & patterns for consistent adoption by development teams.
  • Apply generative AI, machine learning, & Azure AI services to real-world business problems with a focus on scalability, security,
  • Establish standards, guardrails, & best practices for AI use
  • Evaluate new Azure AI tools & services -
  • Support production AI applications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related -or equivalent exp
  • 6+ years in software engineering across enterprise, SaaS, or consulting
  • Proven success building & supporting production applications
  • 7+ years working in C#, .NET, Web APIs, Azure, cloud-native/serverless architectures, SQL Server & Cosmos DB
  • Experience migrating applications to an Azure Platform
  • Experience introducing AI/ML Development frameworks
  • Familiarity with React/Next.js, CI/CD, automated testing, Git
  • Experience in Event Production industry a PLUS
