Job description

Azure Administrator

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Configure and administer Azure data factory, databricks, synapse, sqldb, storage accounts, Eventhub
  • Good implementation knowledge on Azure IAM roles, Azure AD and RBAC
  • Core expertise (Good knowledge) in Azure DevOps, Powershell, Python Scripting
  • Good troubleshooting skills and capable of supporting critical production support
  • Deploy, configure and maintain Azure IaaS/PasS/SaaS services and Networking Services to support growth into the cloud.
  • Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
  • Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
  • Must have Unix and Windows background.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or experience.
  • 7-8 years of industry experience with minimum 2 years of Azure administration

Preferred:

  • Development experience in Azure stack (ADF, Databricks, Synapse)
  • Experience in relational databases like Teradata, Oracle or SQL server.
  • Experience in writing SQL/PL-SQL queries and procedures.
  • Experience in analyzing data objects as well as system objects.
