They really want to focus on somebody who has Azure AD architecture experience. They need to know how to design Intra ID architecture. They need to be able to support it as well. They need to know OAuth 2, OIDC, and SAML protocols. They need to know, like, when would you use one versus the other. In terms of identity lifecycle and provisioning side of things, they're going to be using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other like APIs. So again, having that knowledge is really important. And then they're also designing and implementing security tools such as like MFA, conditional access, identity protection, and doing all the troubleshooting when it comes to the identity issues. So that is what we want to focus on for Azure AD.
Description
- Design, develop and maintain custom IAM solutions using Azure Active Directory, including implementing identity management and access control policies, integrating with other systems, and managing identities and groups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IAM solutions, including authentication and authorization issues, identity synchronization issues, and access control issues.
- Implement and configure security controls, such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and identity protection.
- Modernize legacy identity tools with automated, scalable solutions for access control and lifecycle management.
- Design and build server-side services for authentication, token issuance, and policy enforcement across applications and platforms.
- Develop and manage backend services for user provisioning and identity lifecycle operations.
- Enhance and maintain user experience and process to synchronize users from local tenants to a centralized federated tenant.
- Build custom APIs, extensions, and self-service portals leveraging Azure AD capabilities.
- Automate identity-related processes and tasks using scripting and APIs.
- Work closely with teams in Japan and the US to support global identity integration, operations, and transitions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and operating Azure AD / Entra ID in enterprise-scale environments, including cross-tenant synchronization and identity federation.
- Deep Microsoft technical skills and strong technical delivery of complex projects through a proven methodology such as Agile, ITIL, TOGAF or similar project approaches.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
- Strong understanding of identity concepts including SSO, B2B/B2C federation, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for automation and identity administration.
- Experience designing and building backend identity services for authentication, token issuance, and policy enforcement.
- Effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
