Job description

Role Summary and Job Responsibilities

T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. seeks a Business Analyst in Owings Mills, MD to act as the main interface between technology infrastructure and the specific business and functional area to help identify business solutions, define business requirements, build application, process specifications, coordinate with engineers, and ensure that work is prioritized by business value and in alignment with the overarching business and technical strategies and scalability across the company's technology platforms and business services.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in applied mathematics or a related technical field PLUS
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical Business Analyst.
  • Requires 2+ years of experience with data analysis, data modeling, compliance and risk management, and process optimization.
  • 2+ years of experience with data visualization software like Qlik Sense or Tableau.
  • 2+ years of experience with software quality assurance testing, formulating test strategies, and managing and executing system testing initiatives.
  • 2+ years of experience with SQL queries, Views, User-Defined Functions, and Python, including statistical and machine learning packages.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud services such as Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS) including Aurora and S3.
  • 2+ years of experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • 2+ years of experience with business research, mathematical modeling, and technological innovation.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.
