Position Summary
Performs physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The role supports warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and order fulfillment activities.
• Inspect incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices;document and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Package and prepare products for final shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of merchandise received and shipped.
• Review customer orders and stock, examine, and distribute materials within warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.
• Work directly with carriers to resolve inbound and outbound shipment issues.
• Handle Bills of Lading (BOL), Air Waybills (AWB), and master waybill documentation.
• Support document archiving and retrieval in accordance with company procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment;forklift experience is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
• Warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of SharePoint systems.
• Familiarity with carrier documentation including AWB and master waybill numbers.
• Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, particularly when working with carriers and cross-functional teams.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, urgent environment.
