By using Incoterms, parties can avoid misunderstandings and disputes about who is responsible for costs and risks during the transportation of goods. The most recent version is Incoterms 2020, which includes 11 different terms, such as FOB, CIF, and DDP. These terms are widely used in international contracts for the sale of goods.
