Position Overview

The AVP - IT Finance supports accounting and financial planning and analysis activities including forecasting, budgeting, month end close, and business performance insights. This role partners closely with IT leaders to provide analytics, reporting, and P&L creation and development to help achieve financial and strategic goals.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for interpreting and analyzing financial information related to the general ledger journal entries and transactions.

  • Accountable for maintaining and overseeing the accurate processing of IT departmental invoices and records in areas such as software licenses, data processing charges, hardware purchases and intercompany items.

  • Assist in the preparation of the IT annual budget and quarterly forecasts

  • Ensure adherence to proper internal controls and policies and interface with key internal and external customers as part of daily responsibilities and project teams

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of relevant financial experience, ideally in corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or banking.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable insights.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and cross-functional partners.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Excellent judgment and professionalism with internal and external stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail with consistent, high-quality deliverables.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
