Groundskeeper- Avista Resort

Job Description:ย Thegrounds maintenance personnel will keep public property areas clean, safe, andorganized, using equipment such as hand tools and power tools. Workerstypically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of thefollowing: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing,digging, raking, sprinkler installation, collecting trash, sweeping, and wipingdown outdoor items. Shift: Days & Afternoons Part-Time & Full-Time

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Empties all trash chutes, trash cans, and parking lot as needed

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Sweeps and power washes as needed

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Mowing, weed eating, trimming, laying sod, planting &watering flowers, fertilizer, and other landscaping duties

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Operates the trash compactor

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Maintain and keep inventory on all equipment

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Keep work spaces clean and hazard free

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Perform other light maintenance work orders as assigned such aschanging light bulbs, painting, assisting in moving furniture, etc.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Immediately report any building issues seen while performingdaily tasks

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Effective and professional communication with guests and otherteam members

Requirements:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Valid Driver's License

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends andholidays

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Previous experience is preferred but not required
