  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster recovery, self-discovery, and personal growth.
  • Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration is key: partner with fellow mental health specialists, primary care providers, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive client care.

  • A pass score achieved in the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Demonstrated previous experience as a mental health counselor within a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably with experience in AVATAR.
  • Solid understanding of comorbid physical and emotional health issues, as well as addiction disorders.
  • Knowledge of the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal skills that foster trust and empathy.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in developing and delivering specialized treatment interventions.
