The Electrical Systems Engineer III leads the design, integration, analysis, and modification of aircraft electrical systems for commercial and/or military aviation programs. This senior-level position provides technical leadership for aircraft modification efforts involving AC/DC power distribution, data buses, audio systems, and electrical integration while mentoring junior engineers and supporting complex engineering initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead the design and analysis of aircraft electrical systems for new installations, modifications, and retrofit programs.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Design and analyze complex AC/DC power generation, distribution, and protection systems.
- Lead the integration and analysis of aircraft data bus architectures and communication systems.
- Design, integrate, and troubleshoot aircraft audio, communication, and electrical systems.
- Perform electrical load analyses, fault analyses, wire sizing calculations, and system verification activities.
- Lead technical investigations and resolve complex electrical design and installation issues.
