Role Purpose Statement
Skychefs is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Assembly Operations Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced airline catering production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing meal assembly operations, ensuring flights are catered accurately and on time while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, employee safety, quality, and productivity.
The successful candidate will excel at leading frontline teams, managing production schedules, and ensuring compliance with airline customer specifications, HACCP requirements, and regulatory standards. This individual must be comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment where operational excellence directly impacts customer satisfaction and airline performance.

Main Accountabilities
What You'll Be Doing
• Oversee the assembly of catering carts (sodas, liquor, coffee kits, dry goods, crew meals, and more)
• Ensure accuracy using visual diagrams and dispatch sheets
• Walk the line regularly to confirm quality, timing, and readiness
• Make sure all orders are completed within tight 4-6 hour delivery windows
• Lead a team operating a commercial dishwashing line
• Ensure all carts, equipment, and service items are:
• Properly cleaned
• Fully sanitized
• Ready for immediate use
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization across the department
• Ensure waste, flow, and turnaround times are managed efficiently
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in:
• Food production, warehousing, assembly, or high-volume operations
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced environments
• Comfortable being hands-on and on your feet throughout the shift
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly
You'll Stand Out If You:
  • Have experience in:
    • Airline catering
    • High-volume fulfillment or logistics
  • Have worked with sanitation or dishroom operations
  • Take ownership and don't wait to be told what to do
  • Stay calm and focused under pressure
