Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The Indirect Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in enabling a scalable, consistent, and high-impact global indirect procurement function. This role is accountable for defining and evolving the Procurement Operating System-including policies, decision frameworks, and standards-that helps the business move faster, make better purchasing decisions, and engage procurement at the right moments.
Rather than serving as a gatekeeping or enforcement role, this position focuses on clarity, alignment, and enablement: translating procurement strategy into practical ways of working that are intuitive for stakeholders and sustainable as the company grows.

Procurement Operating System

  • Own and evolve the global indirect procurement operating framework, including policies, standards, and decision guidelines.
  • Ensure procurement governance is clear, simple, and business-aligned.
  • Manage policy lifecycle activities with a focus on usability and adoption.
  • Align governance artifacts with procurement tooling and process design.

Business Enablement & Adoption

  • Translate procurement policies into practical guidance for stakeholders.
  • Partner with category, operations, Finance, Legal, and HR teams.
  • Support training and communications that explain the why and the how.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on procurement ways of working.

Insights, Visibility & Risk Awareness

  • Develop reporting that provides visibility into procurement usage.
  • Identify patterns and friction points that indicate operating model gaps.
  • Highlight systemic risks and scalability issues proactively.
  • Support audit and assurance activities with clear documentation.

Continuous Improvement & Change

  • Continuously refine governance based on feedback and growth.
  • Support global rollouts with strong change management.
  • Simplify and modernize governance through data and tooling.
  • Contribute to Procurement's evolution as a business enabler.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, governance, audit, risk, or related operational roles.
  • Strong understanding of indirect procurement processes, policies, and internal controls.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, or operationalizing policies and procedures in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Experience supporting global or multiregion procurement organizations.
  • Familiarity with audit, risk management, or internal-controls frameworks.
  • Experience working with procurement systems, intake tools, or governance reporting dashboards.
  • Strong influence and stakeholder management skills across crossfunctional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years; or equivalent work experience
