Job description

The Commercial Audio-Visual Installation Technician is responsible for installation of audio-visual and communication systems on active construction sites and within commercial facilities. We're looking for a skilled professional capable of installing a wide range of audio-visual and communication equipment. Success in this role requires both the independence to manage tasks solo and the collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in construction environments and has experience using hand and power tools, reading blueprints and floor plans, and coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. Success in this position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of an installation crew.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AV Installation

  • Hands-on tasks such as mounting equipment and terminating cables

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and support AV systems including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, control systems, and video conferencing equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation


Travel: working on job sites in the West Michigan area, overnights are rare!


Preferred Education/ Experience/ Training in the following General safety, CPR, Ariel Lift, Fall Protection, Scaffolding usage.
