The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audio/Visual (AV) Intern to assist in the support, implementation, and maintenance of AV systems across our organization. This internship offers hands-on experience with industry-standard technologies and provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced AV professionals in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Appropriately address and respond to inquiries and problems in a timely manner.
  • Work with RDV Corporation employees and executives in a pleasant, professional, confident, and confidential manner.
  • Always maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism.
  • Understand and communicate complex technical ideas and structures to people with widely varying skills and interests.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Be available for support outside of regular business hours as needed.

Technology-Related Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Help monitor and maintain AV equipment, ensuring functionality and readiness for meetings and events.
  • System Support: Assist in maintaining AV systems in meeting rooms and event spaces, including video conferencing tools such as Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide first-level support for AV-related issues, escalating problems to appropriate staff as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain AV system documentation, including setup guides and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Project Support: Participate in AV-related projects, contributing to planning, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Facilities, and Communications teams to ensure seamless AV operations.
  • Learning and Development: Gain exposure to AV design principles, vendor coordination, and system integration best practices.

What You'll Bring:
  • Currently pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Audio-Visual Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of corporate audio-visual technologies and video conferencing platforms.
  • Strong interest in learning about AV systems, including Crestron, Zoom Rooms, and Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, verbal, and written communication abilities.
