AUTOMOTIVE WELDER
Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour, DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform MIG, arc, and gas welding on automotive and heavy equipment components
  • Fabricate, modify, and repair metal parts and structural components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance on welding equipment and machinery
  • Diagnose equipment issues and recommend repair solutions
  • Use cutting tools, including oxy-acetylene torches and air carbon arc equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
  • Plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet production deadlines
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • MIG, ARC, and gas welding experience; must pass weld test
  • Able to work with various metals, including steel, cast components, and aluminum
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure
  • Must have steel-toe boots, FR clothing, welding hood & gloves
  • Basic math skills
