Robert Bosch LLC seeks Senior Systems Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 15000 N Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Lead the complete end-to-end development of a customer feature. Oversee all aspects of customer feature development such as coordinating the feature team, serve as the single point of contact and track development progress. Deploy the in-depth knowledge of Ultra-Wideband vehicle integration, vehicle car key interoperability with iPhone and Android devices from end to- end such as, RF/HW, software, system design and overall vehicle integration. Perform the localization of Ultra-Wideband devices such as cell phones, using machine learning methods on low cost/low power hardware. Utilize debugging tools used to evaluate vehicle system behavior and performance to evaluate the entry and start system functionality. Serve as the complete end-to-end owner of feature development. Communicate and collaborate with the customer to identify, analyze and confirm requirements. Develop requirements and contribute to system modeling and system component design. Lead the feature development team. Perform and plan feature team tasks. Track and report team progress and serve as the hands-on technical expert for feature team. Responsible for configuration management and baselining, and coordinate and track activities with local and offshore system test team. Monitor change and defect management. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Software Developer, Functional Software Developer or in an occupation involving feature and functions development in automotive system software environment. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) End-to-End feature development using UWB + BLE Vehicle Access System following all aspects of Product Deployment (System requirement + architecture and SW requirement, arch, design and implementation per protocols (CCC, IEEE 4z, and Mobile device Keys management (Apple and Google)); (2) Machine Learning for development of UWB localization and Calibration features of the Digital Key system; (3) Radio Frequency Gen2 Hardware development (antenna design and analysis for UWB & BLE devices,) starting from concept to prototyping for prove out (PCB design, EMC analysis, RF performance characterization and regulatory compliance) and then maturing system to production for automotive applications meeting CCC and IEEE requirements; (4) In-vehicle systems debugging (onsite + Field) to perform real time analysis, debugging and solution development in vehicle across hardware, system and software; (5) Mobile device providers (Apple, Google, and Samsung) to integrate and debug system and SW issues that impact digital key performance in Automotive applications; and (6) Development tools (DOORS, Rhapsody, Vector, DNG, Rhapsody, PlantUML, MS Visio, VS Code, Git, Python ML libs (TensorFlow and Scikit-learn), MATLAB, and Wireshark. Telecommuting: Hybrid, 2 days per week. Travel Requirements: 10% domestic and international travel.
