Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Systems Engineer plays a key role in supporting the Quality Systems Engineering Lead in the administration and continuous improvement of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). This position ensures system integrity, compliance, and user support while driving standardization, training, and integration across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with the Lead to develop eQMS Administrator SOPs and work instructions.
  • Review and standardize existing SOPs and work instructions for consistency.
  • Test and validate new features, workflows, and updates prior to deployment.
  • Assist in configuring system settings, workflows, and user permissions.
  • Assist in developing training materials to promote effective system usage.
  • Work with module administrators to organize SOPs, Work Instructions, and training resources.
  • Process system security and module eQMS access requests.
  • Initiate and monitor system-related Jira tickets for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Process and resolve all supplier-related eQMS issues.
  • Provide first-level support for eQMS-related issues and escalate complex cases as needed.
  • Manage user accounts, including creation, updates, and deactivation based on role changes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining audit processes for system administration.
  • Maintain document control processes, including versioning, approvals, and archival.
  • Develop eQMS audit process to ensure data accuracy and compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable standards.
  • Monitor system usage and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and compliance standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Hands-on experience with eQMS platforms and system administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to train and support users effectively.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
