Responsibilities
  • Develop test sequence software for the electronic warfare (EW) market
  • Use your RF trouble shooting skills and experience with PNA/VNA measurements to develop custom calibration solutions for EW custom solutions
  • Write measurement software to enable satellite manufacturing and component payload testing
  • Use your knowledge of RF and PNA/VNA measurements to trouble shoot issues on custom test systems
  • Develop applications to support both space, satellite and EW markets
  • Apply your software expertise to write custom solution proposals software content: architect rough solutions based on customer requirements or request for proposal information, estimate software effort for pricing solutions and collaborate with the business development team and system engineers to position the solution with the customer
Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in SW development in C#/C++ (or combination of education and skills)
  • Experience with RF Measurements desired
  • Experience using Keysight PNA/VNA instruments is strongly preferred
  • Experience and aptitude for continuous learning in RF, satellite and related aerospace defense markets
  • Demonstrated communication and cooperation in team environment
  • Effective presentation and problem‑solving skills both internally at Keysight and with customers
  • This position requires a U.S. person. Employment in this position for non-U.S. persons is contingent on ability to obtain any required government authorizations.
  • Based on customer program requirements, candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a US DOD security clearance
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10‑25% to customer sites, as required
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with S‑Parameter measurements using Keysight's PNA/VNA instruments
  • Independent professional who works best under broad and general directions
  • Ability to work with teammates in various disciplines and with varied experience
  • Familiarity with Atlassian development tools: Confluence, Jira and BitBucket
  • RF/uW/mmW communications test with signal generators and signal analyzers
  • Space & Satellite communications and test systems
  • Willingness to jump into tasks to support the customer solution – even if learning a new technology or tool

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance and to meet ITAR requirements. You must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident) as defined by ITAR.

Colorado Pay Range: MIN $110,740 - MAX $184,570
