What do our Shop Assistants do?


As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for shuttling customer vehicles, prepping vehicles for calibration. Additionally, you will perform a variety of tasks as needed to create an efficient and productive shop environment. The essential job functions include:

  • Shuttle customer vehicles to and from calibration center in a safe manner.
  • Prepare vehicles, fueling, tires, etc., for calibrations by following established processes.
  • Support Technicians with any operational needs to expedite calibration process.
  • Perform ADAS Verification tests.
  • Professionally engage with customers.
  • Answer basic customer questions and direct them to correct sources for technical answers.
  • Provide vehicle status updates as required.
  • Help address customer, operational and performance concerns.
  • Manage and maintain supplies, office, and shop.
  • Help clean office and shop to maintain neat and orderly working environment.
  • Prepare and transmit calibration quotes as needed.
  • Prepare and transmit customer invoices as needed.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Meet the requirements of Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy
  • Automotive experience a plus

Physical Job Requirements

  • Frequent Bending and crouching
  • Standing for long periods of time
