Job description

At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our Midas team. The Service Advisor is the face of our shop-responsible for creating a positive first impression, understanding customer concerns, recommending services, and keeping the workflow moving efficiently between customers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and listen to their vehicle concerns.
  • Write up repair orders with clear and accurate documentation.
  • Explain Midas maintenance and repair services with confidence and integrity.
  • Communicate recommended services based on inspections, mileage, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Provide accurate estimates and obtain customer approvals for work.
  • Coordinate workflow with technicians to ensure timely service.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
  • Review services performed at pick-up and answer any follow-up questions.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain organized service records using the Midas POS system.
  • Recommend and promote Midas specials, warranties, and preventative services.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in automotive service writing or customer-facing automotive roles preferred.
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
