Automotive Service Advisor
Family Owned & Operated Midas - Westland, MI
We are seeking a high-energy, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing service team. In this role, you will serve as the crucial link between our customers and our automotive technicians. You will greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, translate those issues into clear work orders for our tech team, and transparently explain repair options and costs back to the Client. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love problem-solving, and excel at building trust, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and build strong professional relationships.
  • Listen to vehicle concerns and accurately document symptoms.
  • Translate customer descriptions into clear technician work orders.
  • Create accurate repair estimates using industry software.
  • Explain diagnostic results and repair options transparently.
  • Provide clear breakdowns of parts, labor, and costs.
  • Obtain customer authorization before initiating any vehicle repairs.
  • Track vehicle progress throughout the day to ensure deadlines.
  • Keep customers updated on status changes or delays.
  • Deliver vehicles back to customers and explain warranties.
