Job description

Description:

City Limits Subaru is looking for a Customer Service Automotive Representative who will be scheduling vehicle maintenance, warranty work, and repairs in the Service Business Development Center (BDC).


Summary

To provide exceptional customer service while generating appointments for automotive prospects contacting the dealership through phone, internet leads and instant chats.


Duties and responsibilities 

  • Answer all incoming Service phone calls generated from: 

o Dealer websites and other sources of advertising

o Internet leads Via email and phone calls

  • Respond to all email / chat conversations from prospects.
  • Make daily outgoing Service calls for follow up, prospecting, first appointment, and recalls.
  • Set appointments for service prospects and customers.
  • Communicate with all no-show appointments and reschedule. 
  • Educate the customer regarding extended warranty / maintenance / tire wheel coverage policies.
  • Use all tools provided for you to effectively load appointments for all shops. 
  • Update all customer information/emails on each call. 
  • Assign appointments with appropriate managers. 
  • Attend all required meetings and training sessions. 
  • Assist Guest Services department in providing customers with loaner vehicles if applicable.
Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Some previous automotive dealership experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of telephonic customer service or appointment setting experience 
  • Exceptional communications skills

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, as filing is required, this can require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand and climb ladders as necessary. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically rotating Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Evening, Holiday and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
