Job description

Capital Chevrolet of Wake Forest is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our Parts Department! In this role, you'll be one of the first points of contacts for our retail parts customers, helping them find the parts they need and providing a great experience from start to finish. You'll also support our team by assisting with phone calls, online part orders, and other day-to-day Parts Department needs. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist retail customers at the Parts Counter by identifying and selling the correct automotive parts and accessories 
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with parts questions, pricing, availability, and orders 
  • Help customers place and manage online parts orders 
  • Look up parts using vehicle information, parts numbers, and available resources 
  • Process retail sales and ensure customers receive accurate information 
  • Communicate with customers and team members to help keep orders moving smoothly 
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the Parts Department and inventory 
  • Help receive, check, and put away incoming parts as needed 
  • Work closely with technicians, service advisors, and other Parts Department team members 
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service in person, over the phone, and online 
  • Assist with other Parts Department tasks as needed to help keep the department running efficiently

  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred 
  • Retail, customer service, or automotive dealership experience 
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories
