Job Description
Hope Auto Company is seeking a skilled Automotive OEM Technician to join our versatile service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. We are looking for a well-rounded technician who is comfortable working on multiple makes and models, from domestic trucks to import sedans.
Whether you are specialized in one brand or have a broad background in dealership-level repair, we offer a steady flow of work and a shop culture that values precision, efficiency, and a "fixed right the first time" mentality.

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday
  • No Saturdays
Pay
  • $25 - $40 per flat rate hour

Sign-on Bonus
  • Up to $3,000 for qualified candidates
    • Half of the bonus will be payed out after the first 90 days of employment. The remainder will be distributed after 180 days.
Work Requirements
  • Ability to commute to Hope, AR required
  • In-person position
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Previous professional automotive repair experience required (OEM/Dealership experience preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance on a diverse range of makes and models.
  • Use advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and drivability issues.
  • Execute repairs to OEM specifications to ensure vehicle safety and longevity.
  • Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations.
  • Clearly document all diagnostic findings and work performed on repair orders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with shop standards.
  • Stay current on automotive technology and industry trends through ongoing training.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a professional Automotive Technician.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to operate a variety of shop tools and diagnostic software (OBD-II, etc.).
  • Professional work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Team-player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Ownership of a professional set of automotive tools.
