Automotive Parts Counterperson Needed! 

Join the Bob Bell Automotive Group Team!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist retail, wholesale, and service department customers with parts inquiries and purchases
  • Promptly greet customers and technicians and provide exceptional customer service
  • Identify, source, and recommend the correct parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software
  • Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
  • Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments
  • Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability for repairs
  • Follow up on special orders and communicate status updates to customers and internal departments
  • Process returns, warranties, and core returns according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
  • Meet dealership and manufacturer performance standards

Qualifications:

  • Previous automotive parts experience preferred
  • GM / Chevrolet experience preferred
  • CDK experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and accessories
  • Experience with dealership management systems and electronic parts catalogs preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment
