BSI's Consulting Services Team is launching a first-of-its-kind approach to holistic, tech-enabled supply chain risk management. As our Senior Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront-bringing this groundbreaking capability to organisations with complex, multi-tiered supply chains and helping them re-imagine how they manage risk in a rapidly evolving world.
What You'll Do
As a senior member of our business development team, you will:
  • Hunt, target, and win high-value opportunities with organisations across Pharmaceutical, ICT, Retail, Manufacturing, and more.
  • Drive market adoption of MESH by articulating its unique value-combining consulting, auditing, analytics, and technology into one integrated solution.
  • Collaborate with leading subject matter experts, engaging them early to design precise, client-specific solutions that tackle regulatory, ESG, cyber, continuity, and operational supply chain risks.
  • Consult deeply with clients, uncovering needs and co-creating bespoke MESH solutions that deliver real resilience and competitive advantage.
  • Negotiate and close strategic deals, ensuring commercial terms reflect the value and innovation BSI brings.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure seamless handover and exceptional implementation experiences.
  • Shape strategy, working closely with MESH leadership to refine our go-to-market approach and contribute to our long-term growth vision.
  • Champion thought leadership, networking and positioning BSI as the partner of choice in supply chain risk transformation.

What You Bring
You're a true business development professional with the mindset of a hunter and the credibility of a consultant. You have:
  • A proven track record in selling new services-ideally in supply chain, risk, compliance, or consulting.
  • Exceptional prospecting, questioning, and solution-selling abilities.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain risk challenges, from regulatory shifts to cybersecurity and ESG.
  • Outstanding negotiation and contracting experience.
  • The ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial, self-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in one or more priority sectors (Pharma, ICT, Retail, Manufacturing).
  • Exposure to technology-enabled service platforms or new solution launches

The salary for this position can range from $102,000 - $135,000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
