Job description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and efficient management of accounts payable processes. This is a long-term opportunity that offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing industry. Pay up to $27/hr depending on experience. Must have experience with PO's and 3-way matching to be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate account coding and compliance with company policies.
• This role will be working in Transcend which is an AP Automation tool.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.
• Manage accrual accounting and ensure timely reporting of financial data.
• Perform auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance within accounts payable workflows.
• Utilize ERP systems - experience with NetSuite highly preferred to maintain organized and efficient financial records.
• Provide support in implementing and improving accounting software systems.
2+ years of AP high volume experience is required
