Thank you for your interest in joining our curious, passionate, hardworking team.  Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Project Technology Coordinator to join the firm as part of our Aviation team in our Dallas office location. This position will work closely with members of the IT - Practice Team in supporting BIM and Practice Technology initiatives across the Aviation sector, firm-wide. The Aviation Project Technology Coordinator will be responsible for providing BIM leadership and mentoring to staff of all levels within a project team and will develop strong business relationships and enhance day-to-day operations by being a conscientious, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented team player. 

Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.  

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Aviation team's designers throughout the preliminary design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and project closeout phases for a wide range of project types, focusing on aviation projects while engaging with other market sectors on initiatives with a firm-wide impact
  • Function as part of project teams focused on the following tasks, but not limited to:
    • Provide BIM/Revit project kick-off leadership on project execution planning, model setup, and team setup direction
    • Manage file transfers to consultant team members, clients, and contractors
    • Supervise sheet set-up to follow project standards
    • Manage work-sets and overall model setup
    • Manage/verify project is following PXP and firm standards for sheet setup, dimensions, and annotation, client standards, etc.
    • Manage model health assessments and clash detection exercises
  • Work with design consultants and contractor peers to allow the larger team to work successfully in a live/shared model environment
  • The Project Technology Coordinator will join our Aviation Team and work closely with the IT - Practice Team to proactively develop and implement best practices and workflows for all Corgan Offices, with a primary focus on Revit, its extensions, and third-party tools
  • This position will exhibit leadership in providing technical support, training, and development to all architectural and interior design staff in the Aviation sector.
  • Build on the firm's standards to develop and maintain tools, families, templates, and processes specific for the Aviation sector
  • Lead integration of Revit products with other applications
  • Establishing and supporting workflows related to:
    • BIM
    • Visualization
    • Reality Capture
    • Construction Administration
    • Computational Design
  • Content creation & management for both the Aviation sector and large client programs
Qualifications
  • This role is an in-office position
  • Architecture or Interior Design degree, or relevant AEC industry experience 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional AEC firm environment
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • A conscientious, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented team player
  • BIM end-user education experience preferred
  • Required experience in Autodesk Revit and other Autodesk suite software on large-scale projects
  • Autodesk Forma (previously ACC) experience is preferred
  • Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit is encouraged
  • Experience creating computational design-based solutions and/or experience with energy modeling or other sustainable design technologies preferred
  • Additional experience in any of the following systems preferred: Newforma, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Enscape, Twinmotion, Affinity, and/or Building Analysis tools

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
