Hendrick Motorsports, a leader in the auto racing industry, is currently seeking a Race Engineer.

Summary:Thispositionis responsible forthe integrity of the design, development, and improvement of race car components and systems to maximize vehicle function. The race engineersare responsible forinterpreting and translating related data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

  • Responsible for managing various projects related to design and performance of race car related components and systems.

  • Responsible for supporting trackside testing and racing.

  • Responsible for collecting and interpreting data and providing recommendations.

  • Responsible forutilizingengineering principles to enhance vehicle design and performance.

  • Assistin car set-up, testing, and analysis as needed.

  • Alter andmodifydesigns to obtain specified functional and operational performance.

  • Responsible for simulation, statistical data, and fuel mileage.

Qualifications:
