Job description

Recalibration Administrator
Collision & Glass • Walser Automotive Group
Full-time | $55,000-$65,000 / year | No prior experience required - we train you
Collision & Glass, an affiliate business of the Walser Automotive Group, specializes in autobody, dent, and glass repair. When a windshield is replaced, the cameras and sensors behind it - the ones that power today's driver-assistance features like lane-keeping, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control - have to be recalibrated so they work exactly as the automaker intended. That's where you come in.
As our Recalibration Administrator, you'll keep this safety-critical work running smoothly: making sure every vehicle that needs a recalibration gets one, verifying it was completed correctly using our calibration system, and keeping the scheduling, documentation, and customer updates organized along the way. It's a detail-driven role that helps keep drivers safe - and you don't need any prior experience. If you're organized, comfortable with technology, and eager to learn, we'll teach you the rest.
Join a team that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and doing the job right the first time - that's the Walser Way.
What You'll Do
  • Verify recalibrations are done right. Using our calibration system (fully trained on the job), confirm that windshield and ADAS recalibrations are completed correctly so features like lane-keeping, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control function as the manufacturer intended.
  • Catch what needs calibrating. Identify which makes and models require recalibration and make sure no vehicle leaves without the work it needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate. Line up recalibration appointments and keep work flowing smoothly between customers, technicians, and the shop.
  • Keep the records straight. Maintain accurate documentation for every calibration, following OEM procedures and requirements.
  • Handle day-to-day administration. Update the CRM, track job status, and keep customer information current and organized.
  • Stay in touch with customers. Follow up on appointments, status, and next steps, and support outreach for service and maintenance reminders.
  • Report on the numbers. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on key metrics using our shop systems.
  • Partner with the team. Work closely with managers and technicians to keep jobs moving and ensure quality and completion.
  • Uphold Walser's Core Values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, Be Open Minded.

What You Bring
No prior experience needed - we'll train you on the recalibration system and everything else. What matters most:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Strong organization and attention to detail - you like keeping things accurate and on track
  • Comfort learning new software and technology - if you can pick up a new app or system, you'll do great here
  • Clear, friendly written and verbal communication
  • A professional, positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt

Nice to have (but not required): any background in automotive, collision, glass, dealership, customer service, administrative, or data work - as well as hands-on comfort with computers, IT, or gaming. If you don't have these, apply anyway.
What's In It For You?
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - time to relax, spend with family, or enjoy personal time away.
  • Career Growth & Advancement - we promote from within and provide clear career paths, mentorship, and opportunities to grow.
  • Fertility & Adoption Assistance - up to $10,000 in financial assistance for fertility treatments and adoption expenses.
  • Comprehensive Health Benefits - medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus HSA and FSA plans. Includes Blue Cross Blue Shield medical coverage and additional wellness benefits.
  • Life Insurance & 401(k) with Employer Match - company-paid life insurance and a 401(k) with an employer match.
  • Paid Clothing Program - twice a year, choose from a hand-curated collection of branded Walser apparel - on us.
  • Employee Discounts - exclusive discounts across products and services.
  • Employee Resource Groups - connect, learn, and grow with inclusive groups including Women of Walser, Drive with Pride, Asian Hmong Alliance, and Veterans at Walser.
  • Community Involvement - make an impact through volunteer opportunities with the Walser Foundation.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - support for personal and professional challenges.
  • Referral Program - earn bonuses for referring talented candidates.
