About the Role
Delavan Holdings is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our centralized Shared Services Accounting team, serving multiple automotive and RV dealership locations. This role is ideal for an accountant who wants hands-on exposure with depreciation, real estate taxes, payroll, general ledger, month-end close, and dealership financial operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
You'll work closely with Treasury, Payroll and Accounting to ensure entries are accurate, compliant, and timely, while also supporting broader accounting functions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare payroll journal entries
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and profit & loss reports
  • Update fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and monthly accruals
  • Code invoices, set up new accounts, and close monthly books
  • Reconcile bank accounts, cash disbursements, and customer accounts
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Assist with audit preparation and documentation
  • File required federal, state, and local tax forms
  • Ensure compliance with payroll and accounting regulations
  • Coordinate with accounting software vendors and recommend system improvements
  • Support purchasing and invoicing systems
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
