To thrive as an Auto Body Remote Technician, you need solid knowledge of auto body repair, paint matching, and damage assessment, often supported by relevant technical certifications or vocational training. Familiarity with remote diagnostic tools, estimating software like CCC ONE or Mitchell, and digital communication platforms is typically required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential soft skills for collaborating with clients and onsite teams.
